Colonel Bogey

This great march was written by Fredrick Joseph Ricketts (1881-1945) under the pseudonym Kenneth J. Alford in 1945. The march is said to have been used in over forty movies. Most famous is the film music from “The Bridge over the Kwai” from 1957 about English  prisoners of war who built a bridge  over the river Kwai for the Japanese in Burma (Myanmar). This march is one of the most famous in the world.
